Space Day & Passport DC

Addicted to the awesome feeling that follows a great day of volunteering?  Well don’t worry because we’ve got more!  Check out these two events on Saturday, May 3rd:

Space Day – National Air & Space Museumsmithsonian

The National Air and Space Museum in downtown Washington DC will be celebrating Space Day on Saturday May 3rd from 10 am – 3 pm.   On that day we will be exploring
the Space – Earth connection: much of what we know about the Earth comes from observations made in space. Click here or email BaldioliA@si.edu by 5 pm on Wednesday April 30.

*All volunteers must be 16 years old or older, as per the Museum’s liability insurance.

Passport DC Around the World Embassy Tour

Around the World Embassy Tour features more than 30 embassies opening their doors to DC residents and visitors on Saturday, May 3, 10am – 4pm (AM and PM shifts available). Each embassy presents various aspects of cultural heritage including food, art, dance, fashion, and music. Information booths at Dupont Circle and Van Ness are hubs for activity where volunteers help participants get around to embassies throughout the day.
